A 6-bed hotel room in Padua accommodates 6 Romanians for a night. This short film impresses, first of all, through its topic: it presents emigration using absurd humor.
Humor wasn’t absent during filming either – the actors had a crowded scene where they had to fit the six bed, the 50 actors and extras, the filming team, the lights, the gear, while filming only happened at night. The result is a bittersweet story worthy of your attention. Grand Hotel Italia was mentioned in the”10 Curious Things About Short Films” top, to see HERE.
