This is a short film about inter-human connections that don’t care about time or logics. It’s the story of a girl who waits her entire life for her father to come back from the sea. It’s happening in a bohemian Dutch landscape, where bicycle movements measure time. Michael Dudok de Wit is a good illustrator, and Father and Daughter brought him the Best Animation Award at Clermont Ferrand in 2001, and an Oscar for Animation in 2001. You’ve seen it and enjoyed it at ShortsUP via Amsterdam!
